Amber von Amerang is a gorgeous 2 year old German Shepherd who is all about her people. She looks to connect and will gaze in your eyes, give you her paw and climb in your lap if you allow it. She is the kind of dog who will be so devoted and loyal, happy just being with you, giving you her full attention and soaking up affection and pets. We think she will do best in a calmer environment and with her people home more. Amber is eager to please, very sweet, and loves her treats—taking them gently like the lady she is. She already knows commands like sit, down, and shake, and she’s crate-trained and housebroken. She walks wonderfully on leash—she's an easy walker who mostly stays in a heel position, ready to explore by your side. She has passed cat testing. In playgroups at the rescue around other dogs she tends to keep keeps to herself. Amber is the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, affectionate, and devoted dog to share her days with you.
